An Existential Approach to Addiction
About Course
Logotherapy & Existential Analysis takes a distinctly holistic view of addiction. Questions of context are at the fore in this approach. For example, addiction can be seen, at least in part, as a response to an existential vacuum, or deep dissatisfaction with life.
This short seminar addresses how we can encourage re-humanisation those struggling with addiction, building self-esteem, tackling the existential vacuum, and facilitating reorientation towards meaning and purpose.
We also explore how Logotherapy can act as an adjunct/supportive therapy in specific settings.
